I wanted to let you know it went well. It did hurt thats for

sure, but both my liver and spleen are enlarged and I have a lot of

health issues. They took all necessary precautions and had large

signs on my bed and on my wrist stating severe latex and iodine

allergies. They listed my food allergies also on a writst band. I

didnt have any problems at all. I did during the initial visit to

register since it was near the er, I coughed a lot and was sick for

the day,but where I had the pre-op appt and asked questions, and told

the surgical nurse my allergies, all went well and she took it very

seriously and made phone calls there to reassure me it would be

latex free. They did take a number of biopsies from the liver and

the next day I had an mri of the 'golfball'under my chin in the

salivary gland. I was diagnosed with

sjogrens,fibromyalgia,rheu.arthritis,osteroarthritis,restless leg

syndrome, asthma, mcs, and a few others. I think I got this sick though

from the celiac going undiagnosed for 37 yrs. Each of my 6 kids has

it too and multiple various food allergies, including latex with 2

girls. I did receive ativan for the rls and it did its job, also a

local anesthetic and clear wash/disinfectant. They were all very

kind too. I was told there were 2 large masses in my salivary gland

which will require biospies. Thank you all for listening and

helping me through these things. I greatly appreciate it,the kind

words,prayers,encouragement really help a lot.Take care everyone.
