Guest guest
Dennis, Let me try that again. The first post was an oops, sorry. I hit a wrong key or something. There is nothing wrong with LUCK! I am glad you have some of the good kind. I think vitamin C is an excellent idea. I will have to try that. I have heard good things about it for prevention of colds, etc. Always good to see your posts. Tracie > > I don't know what I'm doing right/wrong, but I haven't had any colds or other viruses for a long time. Before we (Betty and I) quit smoking, I would get a bad summer cold almost every August or so. Now, the only thing I suffer is from the meds I take for RA. We've started taking vitaminsB,C,E and it seems to help both of us. Betty has worked in child care for a long time and has caught a few viruses but so far, I've avoided them. Maybe I'm just lucky. > > Dennis > > [ ] Catching everything that goes by..... > > > Will I always catch every germ that goes by? Guest guest
I've seen a commercial on Enbrel on TV this evening and it made me realize being prone to cath every disease than come our way is dose related. The medication we are taking supresses our immunity, consequently, when we only take a small dose, we still have some immunity to fight off germs, viruses, bacteria and so on, but when we take massive doses, our immunity is compromised and we catch everything under the sun. betnden@... wrote: I've been lurking for a while.
