Dear Joan,I am so sorry for you and these parents. I can't imagine. My son lost a school friend with DS a few weeks ago. Charlyne, that's so scary! And sad. :(There was a school bus accident a week ago, not too far from here. An 11-year-old girl was killed, and her two sisters (they were triplets) and another boy were in critical condition early this week. I believe one sister has been stabilized, not sure about the other. The dad is a state trooper and heard the accident. It's just awful and tragic. I am hugging my kids right every time I put them on the bus. Accidents, illnesses, what a crazy world we live in. Charlyne, I'm sorry for your son's friend. :(Sent from my iPhone
