Guest guest
Hi, My husband- and I (Terri) adopted 4 children many years ago. We got them all as babies. Now, they are grown or growing up. Our own biological son- is 34 years old and he was born with Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. Then we adopted our daughter Elisha, she is now 27 and has Down Syndrome. Then we adopted Dereck, he is now 24 and has Fetal Alcohol Effects. Then we adopted , she is now 23. Then we adopted Jordan, he is now 19 and has Down Syndrome and autism spectrum disorder. We saved the best for last! Jordan has been our "handful", as I imagine you all can understand. I hope to be able to share our situations and solutions, heart aches and triumphs with you, and learn from you as well. I was actually a member of this group, but it has been over 5 years ago. Thanks, Terri.
