Guest guest
: was on the keto diet for only 4 months when she was 2 years old and the seizures stopped for 2 years. We took her off the diet because she got the stomach flu really bad and had to keep her off for about a week. Since she didn't have any seizures during that time without being on the diet, we along with the dietician decided to keep her off and see what happens and she stayed seizure free for 2 years. I always think about trying it again, but the diet is based on dairy cream and she's not supposed to be having much dairy per DAN doc. Guest guest
✟ JMJ ✟ Sorry if we talked about this. With all my daughters issues I am on so many lists it is tough keeping up with everything. My daughter has seizures (possible doose syndrome) and I am considering the keto diet. We have our follow up in a week with the neuro after her EEG. Blessings, : was on the keto diet for only 4 months when she was 2 years old and the seizures stopped for 2 years.
