Guest guest
We allow ph to sit on the toilet. He'll sit there for an hour or more (his choice, not ours) and usually not produce anything. If he does produce something, it's not under his control. He doesn't have any control over his bladder or bowels. His urologist and pediatrician have both confirmed that ph doesn't have control and never will have it. He dribbles (both pee and poop) all day long. We can't have him sit on the toilet for hours at a time, even though he wants to. We have 9 people and 2 bathrooms in our home. ph has to wear diapers. He doesn't want to wear diapers. He wants to use the toilet just like his brothers and sisters do, but he isn't able to. He doesn't understand why he can't use the toilet just like his brothers and sisters do. We've tried to explain it all to him, but haven't succeeded yet. How do you explain something like that to someone with a cognitive level of a 2-3 year old? It's very frustrating.Dena
