Guest guest
I also checked the moderator actions folders. Yes....there's a history of everything we do. When I heard back from Beth, she said she had gotten a couple of spam notices for the list (I don't get those) and had not authorized those to post. I looked at htem and they have " no subject " in the subject line. I'd delete it too. Again - none of us have time to filter through all the posts that come in. We've tried to set it up so that it's not necessary, which is one reason why we limit membership. My suggestion is not to blindly forward things, and not to use attachments. You can copy and paste and put an introduction to it. Another thought...every once in a while my posts to this list do not appear in my inbox, but in my SPAM box instead. Yahoo may have changed their filtering process...could be the settings on my computer...complicated. It's sporadic but it does happen...so I check my Spam folder if I don't see my posts...Desi To: Cc: Sent: Wednesday, February 8, 2012 6:13 AM Subject: Re: Why are some people's messages being removed?  Hello all.As I understand it there's something about a conference that's not showing up. I don't see it in the archives, and see very few posts by . In fact, , the last post I see from " agirlnamedsuess21 " is from November 6th, and then today. Do I know what's happening to them? No. I am confident they are not being deleted. To be blunt, none of the moderators (Me, Donna or Beth) have the time to do that. I only log into the actual website where it can be done when someone raises a question that requires me to get in there. The rest is done by email. Screening out people who are not parents is time consuming enough - we get a number of students who want to visit and listen in, who we deny membership to. it's the only screening we do unless there is porn or spam or whatever. And usually someone has to tell me it's happening. Again, I dont' have time to screen everyone's posts - the list is unmoderated that way. the number of daily posts have dropped dramatically since I changed the settings to reply to the poster. I will reset this so that the auto reply is to the list. We'll see if that changes things for you, . IF YOU RECEIVE THE DIGEST VERSION PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE THE ENTIRE DIGEST IN YOUR REPLY.That is why I switched it in the first place. I got tired of huge messages that clogged up my email because someone replied and left the entire digest in the message. EDIT IT....please!   Take care,Joan Joan Guthrie Medlen, MEd, RD DownSyndromeNutrition.com twitter: @jmedlen  My posts & follow-ups to posts are not posting or they are being removed after posted. An according to a few others, their posts are being removed or censored as well. What the heck is going on here? Are we just sharing part of the knowledge? Really would like a personal e-mail explaining.... TenEyck
