They had her lay down and they did it straight, bent, on her side….and it was hip to ankle. So how do you diagnose the dislocation?

When they did the X-rays, did they do hips and knees or just the hip? How tight are the muscles....she may be dislocating them when she walks.....something an X-ray wouldn't show.

Hi.....they may have done that for the X-ray, but did the Ortho ped twist/test her knees, hips, and legs before ordering an X-ray. He would be able to determine if she was dislocating her joints. Gareth would sit on the couch and pop his hips in and out while watching TV. By age 15, he had no hip socket left on the right side and he's got 5 pins holding that hip together. When his knees start hurting, because his kneecaps roll back and forth, he has to wear knee braces.

Take care, Everyone.
