Guest guest
Because drops things VERY easily and doesn't have good sense about taking care of things, we opted to start out with an iPod Touch (vs. an iPad because it's easier to handle and carry around). It can do much of the same things an iPad can - as far as I can tell - just on a smaller scale. We have her iPod in an Otterbox Defender case ($27 from Amazon) and so far so good! Guest guest
We have the Trident Kraken IPad 2 case and we like it a lot. Here's a youtube video of this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wgzrgh5EpBc We put her Ipad (which is in the Trident case) into a messenger type bag that she caries around when we are out. So far so good, she hasn't thrown it yet. This one is WATERPROOF! http://www.lifeproof.com/shop/cases/ipad-2 Here is what they say about it:Your LifeProof™ case for iPad 2 has all the amazing features of a ‘LifeProofed’ iPhone along with the convenience of taking your Tablet PC anywhere with a totally new level interactivity within any environment. Listen to lectures and study while in the hot tub Wash it with the dishes after creating your favorite recipes Review Blue-prints at a construction site or dusty environment Look through the iPad 2 window in Augmented Reality while walking the streets Don’t freak when you drop it – it’s LifeProof™.Both of these are available for pre-order only. The other case I was thinking of was the Survivor (not Defender, as I thought), which seems to be very well trusted by the people who won it. (The other was the Otterbox Defender, which is also very popular.Janice
