Guest guest
My 18-year-old daughter has a pretty severe sleep disorder. She is extremely restless and sleeps 12+ hours every day. She had a sleep study done when we lived in Wisconsin about 2 or 3 years ago and she had no problems getting to sleep and sleeping the night for it. Now that we are in Colorado, her doctor has recommended another sleep study. We have tried twice now to get it done and my daughter will not sleep. The first one was attempted about 4 months ago and they tried to do an EEG with the sleep study. All the wires on her face bothered her greatly and she did not sleep for even 1 minute. We attempted a 2nd one last night, just trying the sleep study alone without the EEG and the added wires. She still did not sleep. Has anyone else out there had great difficulty getting a sleep study done? Any suggestions? Her technician did say her oxygen levels were in the 80's and she was concerned about it. But the bottom line is that I know she has a sleep disorder that needs to be treated, but need some guidance on how to get it done. thanks for any advice you can give.
