Guest guest
I just got notice that in MAy I will be attending another ISP for my son ELie. No big deal this year - just a re-write of his goals! And there is the kicker. Accoding to state references, I need to come up with 2 new goals to be worked on for this coming year. Now Elie is very much a person. This feels so much like a 'normal' (to quote one of my favorite people) making new year resolutions. We make them every year. Nothing changes. And so we do ti again. So this is what I have come up with for this year: Elie will take his cell phone, push button number 1 and call his mother once a week.Elie will take his own cell phone, push the correct number  and he will call one of his brothers each week.Elie will walk with his friend to the Dollar General Store (across the acreage and within sight of his house) where he will pick out and buy food items from his list, and use his EBT card to pay, putting in his PIN number where appropriate. He will then walk home with his purchase and his EBT card. I am tired of the safety goals we have put in for 20 years. I am tired of writing vocational goals over and over. I am tired of writing social goals. Elie lives in the community and exercises these things daily.
