Guest guest
<< Im beginning to think they should have given mass pnuemonia vaccines not flu, at the hospital majority of my patients have pnueomonia, and the kicker its not the same kind either, some have community aquired, some have strep pnuemonia, others have other bacteria like positive cocci chains, uuugh!, >> Hi, Everyone....a....Gareth gets a pneumonia shot every year, along with the flu shot, because his body only has a positive response to 5/14 titers. I just HATE the stop in communication....that is what bothers me the most......he just shuts down when in pain/sick. .....Gareth had blood work done March 2, 8 wks after starting the weekly infusions. The blood work did show that his Iv G's level are in the normal range now, so the infusions are doing what they are suppose to do. Unfortunately, this statrted out viral.....cold going into sinus/ear infection, and then, down to the lungs. Shane....OMGosh......how did you find out about that? That is soooooooooo sickening. As much as I gripe about Gareth and his illnesses, quirks, etc, I live because of him....my life is for him, with pleasure and love, I might add. The down side is that there are parents of special needs kids who do not have the desire or patience to deal with their kids. That is the truly sad part. I don't think Gareth looks at his life as *suffering and uneventful*. He got the local SO brochure today and softball starts in two weeks. If I had only grabbed the camera to get a picture of the BEAM on his face!!! That kid can slug the ball way over the pitcher's head and into the outfield!!! Take care, Everyone. Guest guest
Margaret - that is so cool. Elie's favorite sport these days is slugging the ball - he even goes out in the out field - won't catch a ball(altho he can) but he will through them in after they land. But Elie will not do S>O> He plays either pickup ball with his and friends or plays outfiled for the 7 yo's!!! Hope Gareth is feeling better.
