This is strange as Dr Goyal mentioned in my last consultation about the clinics in London but said it will be more reasonable charges than Breakspear. Hi It actually £290 for first consult then £125 after that for 30 mins! I have spoken to Bates at Caudwell just now and she says in principal but not guarenteed that currently they cant see a problem they are in talks with Goyal and will advise in due course, this is all the information you will get now if you ring them. He has to SUPPLY the meds to get Caudwell to pay it (putting it on his invoice), he is giving private Rx's which will not be covered otherwise he has to set himself up as a dispensing pharmacy in 3 places which is not going to happen

Has that been confirmed Mandi, i spoke to Bates at Caudwell this morning and she didnt say anything about them not paying for the meds, although i didnt ask her that question directly, i just asked if we could use our Caudwell funding at Dr G new clinic. x

Breakspear charges for a 10 pack of Valtrex 500mg £39.53 whereas you can get the same for £25 (approx) in Tesco/ASDA pharmacy. Even if you add a prescription fee (£9 in Breakspear), it still is economic. LDN is £30 at Dickson's Pharmacy whereas £48 in Breakspear. LDN, Artesunate, Nitaoxanide are the only prescription items which Tesco/ASDA could not provide as these are not licensed for dispensing and has to procurred on a named patient basis only where Breakspear was the only source.
