Guest guest
WOw thanks, let me know how you go Mx Mandi,You can buy Naltrexone here:http://goldpharma.com/search/a few people on Polish group similar to this one used it and it was quick and easy. As for the prescription you can ask to speak to the pharmacy doctor and tell him what you need it for for additional £6 (you need to tell them that it's for you as this medicine is not licensed for children). I don't know if they speak English well though. I am going to buy Naltrexone for myself next week and will ask.Kasia> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Sent from my HTC> > > > ----- Forwarded message -----> > From: "Ravali Sarangapani" <_ravali.sarangapani@_ > > (mailto:ravali.sarangapani@) >> > To: <_rlsarang@_ (mailto:rlsarang@) >> > Subject: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Breakspear Medical > Group & apos;s > > ASD clinic> > Date: Thu, Mar 22, 2012 6:51 pm> > > > > > > > ---------- Forwarded message ----------> > From: "Lynda " <_L@_ > > (mailto:L@) >> > Date: Mar 22, 2012 6:23 PM> > Subject: FW: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Breakspear Medical > > Group & apos;s ASD clinic> > To: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > 22 March 2012 > > Dear Madam or Sir, > > I am writing to let you know about some changes at Breakspear Medical > > Group as you are a parent of a child who is under Dr Goyal’s > care. > > . > > Dr Goyal has decided to open his own Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) > > clinics in London, Manchester and Scotland. Guest guest
I just been told Caudwell don't cover the RX drugs now anyways, I didn't know that, they did before when we used the Bethanacol Mx Breakspear charges for a 10 pack of Valtrex 500mg £39.53 whereas you can get the same for £25 (approx) in Tesco/ASDA pharmacy. Even if you add a prescription fee (£9 in Breakspear), it still is economic. LDN is £30 at Dickson's Pharmacy whereas £48 in Breakspear. Imunovir 500mg (100 tabs) is £75.84 in Breakspear but £42.66 outside. However this all works if you are paying for the medicines yourself so in the new setup if it is not funded by Caudwell it might be worth trying out. Nothing is going to make Valtrex cheaper, he offered me private RX for LDN, didn;t think it would be much good but Varum has tracked down a place that will dispense it. Via BS Caudwell pay for the meds which they won't with this new set up Mx hi mandi you may be able to get a private prescription from daniel then it would be considerably cheaper for rx's.... I remember asking him if he was moving in jan and he mumbled something back then...we can just see what will happen when the first clinic opens at biolab...Isobel> > > > > > > > Sent from my HTC> > ----- Forwarded message -----> From: "Ravali Sarangapani" <_ravali.sarangapani@..._ > (mailto:ravali.sarangapani@...) >> To: <_rlsarang@..._ (mailto:rlsarang@...) >> Subject: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Breakspear Medical Group & apos;s > ASD clinic> Date: Thu, Mar 22, 2012 6:51 pm> > > > ---------- Forwarded message ----------> From: "Lynda " <_L@..._ > (mailto:L@...) >> Date: Mar 22, 2012 6:23 PM> Subject: FW: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Breakspear Medical > Group & apos;s ASD clinic> To: > > > > > > > 22 March 2012 > Dear Madam or Sir, > I am writing to let you know about some changes at Breakspear Medical > Group as you are a parent of a child who is under Dr Goyal’s care. > . > Dr Goyal has decided to open his own Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) > clinics in London, Manchester and Scotland. Guest guest
This was my guess about revenue sharing as it is quite odd to have a different pricing structure from what it was in Breakspear. He could have at least kept the same structure to begin with and then adjust based on demand. I used to think that being independent he will be more cheaper as was indicated to me during consultation.Blood tests will be more expensive as The Doctors Laboratory charges more than Breakspear for H & B when done at their premises as opposed to being done at Breakspear as they add nursing charges.Overall the clinics might be in a central location (accessible to quite a few parents though parking is a nightmare in London if you use your own vehicle - trains are best for London clinic) though will be overall expensive for everything.VarunTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: Mum231ASD@...Date: Fri, 23 Mar 2012 07:48:39 -0400Subject: Re: Re: Fwd: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Brea... He never said a word to me about it in the morning Revenue sharing on basis is illegal, he is only allowed to pay rent........ Mx This is strange as Dr Goyal mentioned in my last consultation about the clinics in London but said it will be more reasonable charges than Breakspear. It could be partially because of the revenue sharing model between Biolab and Dr Goyal, but £125 for 30 min follow-up visit is quite high.Varun To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: Mum231ASD@...Date: Fri, 23 Mar 2012 05:24:57 -0400Subject: Re: Re: Fwd: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Brea... £290 for 1st visit 'up to 60 mins' and £125 for 'up to' 30 min follow up Mx Do you know how much he will be charging for 45 minutes consultation?Jabi>> > > I emailed them last night and asked about it. Guest guest
I saw Goyal today in his clinic. It was his first day. It may seem more expensive when you look at the rates. I originally thought that. BUT the testing IS cheaper. Alot cheaper. He is independent now and only tests what he thinks is absolutely necessary and he gets a good rate at the Lab. Cheaper than what they normally charge. He has spoken to Caudwell so all patients will be fine. For prescriptions, Harley street is nearby so you just take the prescription down to one of the many chemists there and they do it for you. So you pay for your drugs yourself. I found him amazing and very happy about doing clinic. They are also soon setting up in Manchester and Scotland. He is in this for our kids and you can't say that about many of them. Guest guest
Yes Dr. Goyal is better than many and I think he is the only one with mainstream background who treats ASD. > > > > > > > > > > > > I > > emailed them last night and asked about it. Guest guest
Our son is 17 and we have been given an appointment at the new clinic. There was no mention of him having to go to the Breakspear when he turns 18 which will be in August. Guest guest
Hello! I haven't been able to comprehend the situation by reading your posts..My son is 18 and still under dr Goyal's care. So, do we have to go to see him in his new clinic or at the Breakspear Hospital? I have an appointment with him tomorrow but I will turn it to the telephone consultation.Should I ask him to clarify the situation or not as I haven't received any letter from the Breakspear except a Questionnaire which I have to fill it for my son. Could you tell me please.
