ok, thanks, so presumably a fast set composite would be safe?  She will be filling his adult molars.

Not amalgam, she'll probably have fast set composite for the kids

Mx

Also, what type of filling should I be trying to get for him?  What is preferable?  Sorry I have read dozens of ABE posts on this subject but still seem to be pretty clueless.

Is his thyroid okay do you know? That can affect tooth enamel among other things. JanetTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: rexel4@...Date: Tue, 3 Apr 2012 15:15:01 +0100Subject: Re: Teeth - Remineralization & Fillings

It is possible. I have read about it but didn't believe it until it actually

happened to my child. Sara had 2 very deep holes in her front teeth. She had

them cleaned but the dentist said that she won't put anything inside because

small kids use front teeth more than adults and the fillings will fall out in a

few days. We went to Poland and she had ozone therapy on them- to kill the

bacteria. That was done in May last year, since then we started GAPS, eat more

organic red meat from local farm, have GAPS bone broth every day, fermented fish

oil (horrible), butter oil and ConcenTrace minerals and I noticed last week the

holes are gone! I would not believe if I didn't see it myself! Sara is almost 5

and it took almost a year for the holes to heal.

position I would also think about fluoride coating but would that prevent use of

the remineralising mousse (that Tracey mentioned here a while back used by a

dentist near Stansted)?
