Guest guest
Hi -- so sorry to hear about your sister. My son's partner, age 21, was diagnosed last October with leukemia.. Went thru chemotherapy till June and was in remission. Just a couple of weeks ago it was back. He is back in the hospital for agressive chemo and is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant. His sister is a perfect match. They don't use "interferon" to treat.. They use agressive chemotherapy. They have made many advances in years to treat leukemia.. They don't know how he got it. Just one day he was fine, the other day, his gums were bleading, he had a sore throat, went to the emergency room and they said he had leukemia--he was 20 years old.. The younger they are, the better health they are in--they seem to handle treatment much better. I will pray for your sister and of course you... Blessings... I talked to her and they haven't told her what kind of leukemia it is yet. Newton in Nevada'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Guest guest
Leukemia - Symptoms Symptoms of leukemia depend on how much the cancer has grown and may include: · Fevers and night sweats. · Frequent or unusual infections. · Weakness and fatigue. · Headaches. · Bruising of the skin and bleeding from the gums or rectum. · Bone pain. · Joint pain. · Swelling in the belly or pain on the left side of the belly or in the left shoulder from a swollen spleen. · Swollen lymph nodes in the armpit, neck, or groin. · Decreased appetite and weight loss because you feel full and don't want to eat. Usually you see fever and bruising as the first symptoms Romero Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, " OH CRAP, SHE'S UP!! " ! If it will upset the lists too much feel free to contact me off list. There was a suggestion that some of Phoebe’s symptoms might point to that. Still waiting to hear back from the pediatrician though.
