Guest guest
So I am new to this.. I've known that Ive had Hep c for about 2 yrs now.. I started treatment the beginning of this year, its been tough on me but im sure not as hard as some. I only discovered I had it was when my mother first started her treatment, I thank her for that because she's had it for about 20-25 yrs now and now doctor instructed her at any point to look into treatment and my mother at the time did not know any better so she now knows better and has passed her wisdom on to me.. I am currently out of work because I have not been feel well getting to the end of my treatment. About 3 more weeks to go!! yah!... The treatment isnt as bad as i thought and saw my mother go through given she has more progressed disease than I do. But I cant wait until all this is over. My only concern right now, and I know this is little considering the extensive treatment, But know with being the end will I have to go through another biopsy because I didnt know have a great experience the first time. Thanks for letting me vent!!! Good luck to all
Guest guest
Welcome, onelove. I'm VickieG. It is nice to you. I finished my treatment the end of May this year and am going for my first dr's apt. after fiinishing treatment. If you are nondetectable, I would think that now you only will need to go for blood test every six months or once a year from now on. Congratulations on getting through your treatment.
