Herpes Virus - Please help

My 4.5Y daughter has Herpes cold sores on her lips since January this year and we have not found a way to get rid of it. She had very low neutrophils when the cold sores started but after stopping DMSA she came to normal neutrophil levels. We tried several medicines for treating her lips, Valtrex, Acyclovir, Lauricidin, Immune boosters like IP6 Inositol, Transfer Factor, Beta Glucan etc without any success. She is currently on Acyclovir which just controls the outbreak but it's not completely going away.

Can anyone suggest their experience, her eating has become a nightmare these days and she dropped below 9th centile.
