There's another vet!

Does he have a service connection for treatment of something else.

?

What VA hospital does he go to?

Well, to be honest I don't

exactly what type of doctors he sees at

this time. He actually is uninsured and is going through all of this

will have more of an answer.

I finally convinced him to go to the doctor this morning so maybe they

can give him some antibiotics or something to make him feel a little

better.

I know that in the upcoming months he is probably only going to feel

worse...I just hope I can keep him going :)

Thanks for your quick response. I am on and off of the computer all

day so I don't always get back to it as quick as I'd like.

Have a great day!!!

I'm a Vet but I'm not SC for HCV. I go to a VA Hosp. here in north Florida.

I went through treatment at a VA Hospital here in CA in 2005

and got good care and have no complaints. They have continued check ups

every 6 months with ultra sound and blood draws. Since I was a

non-responder, they will continue care until something new comes along.

There are very few SC for HCV. There should be for the air guns that were

used, but the VA fights that one and it is hard to get it done. It is not

considered as presumptive for vets.

Your hospital should have a Liver dept and that is where the team will do

their thing. If you have any problems with the VA, let me know. I have

some good contacts in FL.

I'm a Vet also and not SC but I also had air jets shots. I am happy with all the care that I get from VA. I'm also in North Florida.

I just wanted to clarify, we aren't having any trouble

with the VA. It just seems a little overwhelming and

probably would at any hospital.

Just didn't want anyone to think I was bashing :)

Happy Veteran's Day to all Veterans and their

families.

Thanks for all you've done!!!!
