Guest guest
Honey sounds great got all those duckies lied up in their rows and finally onboard. Don't let the 4 yrs scare you or stress you out now. Stats averages are only #'s the easiest things to manipulate and doesn't can't take into consideration all factors many things including luck divine guidance intervention and was just meant to be. You know my transplant donor story and who would have ever thought of that it would come to be a million to 1 shot to never happen or be a perfect non-blood relative perfect match never seen before to match so perfectly like that. I love the commercial that says - Stats outcomes let's change them completely to our favor to 90% - can we do that - sure I guarantee it up 90% maybe 50% of the time. Love and Hugs. Deb and RD Hello All, Well, I'm back from Toronto. Saw the social worker, the t p co-coordinator & the Living Donor docs. They're "presenting my case" to the t p committee tomorrow & seem to agree that I should be on the t p list within the next few weeks. After that, Tim (my nephew) has to contact them himself to offer to donate. Then he'll go through the donor screening which, depending on scheduling, should take about six weeks. If he is acceptable as a donor I could be looking at a date for the surgery as soon as August! It will probably be much later than that but by the end of 2008 I could have a new liver. If Tim isn't acceptable or decides he doesn't want to donate after all it could take up to 4 years. Since I'll be classified as a tumor patient, they'll try to find me a new liver faster than the tumor grows. Love Ya, SuZie & Sir SpYke the Fuzzy who got forgot last trip to T O!!! They will PAY Next time I'm coming back as a cat
