Hi , where did you get all your boys

tested?

At the Breakspear – do they all have

it?

Have OCD type behaviours disappeared after

antibiotics then?

Sorry if I have missed some of the thread

and am being too simplistic.

I too saw the Daily Mail article and have

heard of PANDAS before but

Never done anything about it.

What do you suggest, any info welcome xx

I had a couple of phone calls from our GP re the MMR (my son has not had

it) and they asked me to make an appointment and I didn't make it, what was

there to say? I didn't want the MMR, nothing left to say. Now he's nearly

8 years old they don't ever mention it anymore.

Good luck!

Valtrex (Valaciclovir) v/s

Aciclovir

Has anybody switched from Aciclovir to Valtrex ? I started with Valtrex but as

my son was poorly switched to Aciclovir after 5 weeks and had been on it for

last 2 months.

As Valtrex is more bioavailable (5-6 times), I am thinking of switching back to

it in half the dose (250mg).

Subject: FW: IMPORTANT announcement regarding Breakspear Medical

Group & apos;s ASD clinic

To:

22 March 2012

Dear Madam or Sir,

I am writing to let you know about some changes at

Breakspear Medical Group as you are a parent of a child who is under Dr

Goyal’s care.

..

Dr Goyal has decided to open his own Autistic Spectrum Disorder

(ASD) clinics in London, Manchester

and Scotland.

His new, independent practice will provide patients with his medical

supervision and his highly trained team of nutritionists will provide

bio-medical and nutritional support. Dr Goyal’s aim is to establish

a national network of clinics, which will provide a cost-effective support

structure and be easily accessible to parents and patients.

Breakspear Medical Group is supporting Dr Goyal’s plan

by recommending that his ASD patients’ parents or guardians contact him

at his new organisation, Sincere Health, to which he is transferring his ASD

practice. Dr Goyal’s ASD clinic at Breakspear will close by the end

of June 2012 and he will be in touch with you in due course.

Breakspear will continue to provide follow-up appointments

for Dr Goyal’s existing ASD patients until mid June, but cannot offer new

patient registrations for ASD patients. Breakspear Medical Group will

need your signed authority on a form (available upon request from Reception)

for

the transfer of your child’s medical records to Sincere Health.

After Dr Goyal’s ASD practice at Breakspear closes, he

will continue to work part time at Breakspear focussing on the treatment of

adult environmental illness.

If you would like more information about Dr Goyal’s

new Sincere Health clinics or if you would like to make an appointment, please

visit: www.sincerehealth.co.uk,

complete an online ‘contact us’ form or telephone 0

(line may

be experiencing high call volume). Dr Goyal will be seeing patients at Biolab

Medical Unit, The Stone House, 9

Weymouth Street, London W1W 6DB..

Yours sincerely

Hi Lucy, all tested at the Breakspears. All 3 older boys all had levels of 400

at Christmas, 12 weeks of antibiotics later and more tests.... and

's levels are still 400 and 's doubled to 800! Which apparantly

means his immune system is kicking in and making his behaviour dreadful... so he

is on mega doses of antibiotics and nurofen now. Thinking of having all 4 boys

tonsils removed. Haven't put poor Marcus through a blood test but as he just had

tonsilitis again, I don;t think we need any more evidence for him.

So, no difference in the boys noticed since treatment except is worse!

But we need to keep going now we have started.
