Hi everyone,

I decided I better check in. It's been awhile since I posted. Life is so busy since I finished tx. Catching up on yard work X 2 and house work as well as writing fills my days completely. But, I can handle it now, thank God. I almost long for winter now so I'll have more time to sit at my desk.

I would like to welcome the new members that joined since I posted last. There have been a lot of you. You couldn't be in better hands for support and information. When you are down and out, reach out and touch someone here. When you are feeling good, reach out and touch someone here. Either way, you can help someone or be helped by someone. It's a wonderful team of good people in membership here. I feel much better. Can you tell?

I signed up with a publishing company yesterday. I don't know how long it takes to make a book, but the process has begun. My book will be titled, "The Silver Dragon" (Hepatitis Awareness Poetry) and, I am nervous as heck with a lot of "what if's" in my head. This book contains poems about real life experiences with hep-c and tx by members I met here and on other support sites. I hope it will help someone out there in some way.

I'll be trying to catch up on reading emails for awhile as they have piled up on me.

Love and hugs to all the loving hearts here. VickieG

Hi Vickie-- so good to hear from you and glad to hear your spirits are soaring!!

Let us know when the "book" is published...we have been "reading" it all along...

You even wrote "me" a poem that saved one of "my ugly" days one day--for that I will NEVER forget!

Love you and have a AWESOME day today!

Dorsey

Hi, Dorsey

It's so good to hear from you. Thank you for your reply. Yes, I'm in the clouds for now. I hope it lasts a long long time. And I hope everyone else feels this good after tx.

I'm so glad the poem I wrote for you lifted you up at a time that you needed it. By the way, your poem will be in the book. I hope this book serves it's purpose to inform and comfort others with hepatitis-c. Please pray that it will succeed for that purpose.

Hugs, have a wonderful day, VickieG

My heartfelt thanks to you for your reply. It's just a book of poems I was compelled to write while on tx. If, through them, I can entertain or help some of the people with this virus, I will feel blessed. My prayers are with you during this time in you life. Hugs, VickieG

Hi, . Nice to hear from you. You can find a folder of some of my poems on the main hepatitis c for dummies page. My folder is one of those on the left hand side of the page. I hope you enjoy them. My newest ones are not there, but I can post some for the group in the near future. Just look for the notice in email when I post them. Hugs, VickieG

Congratulations, Gail on 10 years after tx. That is wonderful. I'm sure you held your breath for awhile after tx, though. I can't imagine anyone being totally secure after. I am doing fine. Still in Florida with sporadic internet connections. I'm trying to keep up with email, when I can get in. Hugs, to you and everyone in group. The first six

months are usually when you will relapse if it is going to happen. I was told this

by my specialist but we kept track for the first two yrs and now it has been 10yrs

for me since I finished treatment. Gail -----Original

Hi,

everyone. I'm just checking in, if I can get a connection long enough to

do so. I'm still in Florida with our daughter. It's been cold the

last couple of days and is pretty cool today, but sunny.

I finally got the rusults of my last RNA tests. Everything is still

nondetectable after six months off tx. I've been writing a little bit but

mostly enjoying myself here.
