Guest guest
We used Biocare Lipozyme which was recommended by a practitioner. This helped my son with fats. Also - my son did not tolerate EFA's in the beginning - I found that he could tolerate them for a short time then was better when off them. I kept them in the cupboard and tried them intermittently then eventually found that over the years as his health improved he was able to tolerate them more and more. And if I had some that he couldn't take that were about to expire then I took them myself. Can any please recommend a good lipase digestive enzymes. Thanks. x
Guest guest
Many thanks Darla. Have ordered some. Was it the Biocare Lipozyme that helped your son cope with EFAs too? x We used Biocare Lipozyme which was recommended by a practitioner. This helped my son with fats. Guest guest
In the beginning (6+ years ago) he could only tolerate EFAs with the Lipozyme but even then he could only tolerate them for about 5 or 6 days at a time with about a week in between. So I started trialling the EFAs off and on but kept the Lipozyme all the time. Eventually (maybe 2 years in or thereabouts) he was able to tolerate them for longer periods of time and he maintained the benefits (just a brighter happier child all around) and now he can have them without problem. I really felt that they were an important supplement to persevere with as there is so much positive research on the benefits for our kids and for all kids really. All the best,Darla x Many thanks Darla. Have ordered some. Was it the Biocare Lipozyme that helped your son cope with EFAs too? x We used Biocare Lipozyme which was recommended by a practitioner.
