Hi Debbie,

Thanks for the info. A subluxation is where a vertebrae becomes free

to move backwards and forwards when the neck is moved. If left

untreated it can impinge on the spinal chord and cause serious

neurological damage. Atlantoaxial I think just refers to the C1/C2.

It is encouraging that you had a good recovery and benefited from the

procedure. Yes I would be interested to hear how your friend is

getting on.
