Guest guest
Joyce, Sorry to hear you are hurting so much. My thoughts on it are that being in that tube for the MRI caused you to go into a RA " flare. " I've had them done several times and never experienced anything like you are right now. I would suggest that next time you need one that you try to use a place that has an open machine as they are much my comfortable for those of use that have RA and other physical pain issues. When I had my last one in the open machine I did hurt as I had to lay on my back and even the pain pills did not dull it. However, once I got off my back the pain almost all went away. A back brace of some kind might help and I think wal-mart might carry them. Maybe someone can go see if they can buy one for you so you can try it. If I was in your situation I would try anything. My thoughts are with you and hope you will be feeling better soon. a Texan too --- In , " J. L. McCrary " <j.mccrary@...> wrote: > > This past Tuesday I had a MRI done to my lower back. My poor cats has decided they will just lay down on the bed with me since I don't pay much attention to them. I found two of them on the bed this afternoon when I woke up. Normally I take one nap a day but now I feel I need two. I feel completely wipped out. Next Tuesday I have an appointment to see my Dr. to talk about the MRI and bone density tests. The MRI I had done this past June when I had pancreatitis didn't make me feel this way. Do you think I am just having a flare up of RA? > It's painful getting out of a chair, walking and I can't hold myself straight whan standing.
