Ah I wish I could express my feelings as well as you. The emotional

part of this Dragon Slayer needs help :( I am making an appointment

for marriage counseling but was also wondering if going to a

caregivers group would help me too?

not a strong enough or positive enough person while on tx.

and in all stages.  Each person must pace themselves with physical

activity and find the best types of activities and accomplishments.

Being on tx does affect your energy and stamina levels body and

emotional well being too.  Depression and changes in moods

personality not feeling like oneself is 1 of the most frequent

sides.  Keeping active going out and doing things the things we enjoy

or activities hobbies is very good for us and for our emotional well

being while on tx.

> It's the meds.  Tx and the meds are rough on everyone worse for

some people and for their own and other medical problems dx's. The

further along in stage of liver damage the worse the sides and

complications can be but it can also be very rough on people even in

very early stages.

it the sides all by

> ourselves because we want so badly for tx to work for us to clear

still be ourselves feel like ourselves all the time.  Than the meds

kick in and us after on it long enough now at sustained dose levels

and we feel the sides and complications.

>

> We are not being weak or not positive or not trying hard enough and

should not blame ourselves.  We can not simple fight off the forced

sides by being very strong very positive cause the meds are stronger

than us.  Our Dr's know this and why we should report any sides

complications and get help or the right rx's for us to help relieve

the sides.  It may take many tries with different rx's or therapy to

find the right 1's for each 1 of us.

>

> The so happy ecstatic feelings of starting being on tx may now be

gone for us and adding to our frustrations and the forced medical and

emotional sides of very strong tx meds.

>

> It is very good to vent and know others on rx do feel the same and

are experiencing some of the same things going through some of the

same forced physical medical and emotional sides of tx.

>

> The truth being on tx meds sucks big time but our only hope and

types of tx for us now on the market.

>

> I have found we with HCV are much harder on ourselves and other

people of us to while on the tx meds because we or them may not fully

or don't understand how very strong toxic the long length of tx meds

are for us too and affect us our full body and emotional states.

>

> If we were on chemo for cancer we and our family friends

other people would understand and accept better a cancer dx and how

the tx's are so strong and rough on us.

>

> We are on a type of chemo based med and additional pills anti-viral

agents meds for long periods of time and the 2 together are very

rough on us.  Some people worse than others and not our faults.

>

> The thrill happiness of staring rx getting the help to clear is now

over the sides have hit and we are feeling it all.

>

> Now it's a different game plan and mindset.  Now we must make the

best of it all do our best stay strong positive and hope and pray for

the best.  If we know and feel we are doing or have done our best

than that is all we can ask of ourselves and others ask of us too and

with no regrets.

>

> The mind and the proper mindset is a wonderful and powerful tool.

We can live content with constant bad chronic pains control our

emotions and thresholds for pain.  But on tx meds for HCV with the

forced emotional sides it makes it more difficult for us and to

achieve that proper mindset and block out the sides an emotions.

>

> We hang on tight hang in there and take it all 1 step and 1 day at

a time.

>

> Yes it is a very long hard struggle and fight but so well worth it.

>

> Yes tx is not medically approved for everyone and not everyone can

finish it or must reduces doses because of the severe medical sides

complications from the strong tx meds.

>

> We should not feel like failures or it was our fault especially if

we are medically pulled off tx or do not clear or remain clear from

tx's.   Some people have tried been on tx's many times many years of

it.   I admire respect them their strong will and knowing what they

are going to face and go through again.

>

> Some people that have relapsed after full tx have decided they have

rime to wait for different better safer less sides tx's to hit the

market.  I admire their courage and respect their personal best

decision making for them.

>

> Some people have opted to be part of tx trials in all stages of

development even with 1st human trials.  That takes much courage and

help for themselves and for all others after them.

>

> We all now in all stages on all types of tx's or not in all stages

and post transplant are paving the way in medical sciences for better

medical care and tx's for now and the future.  Much has been gained

much has been learned from our struggles and much improvements and in

research which is on the fast track for HCV and liver transplants.

>

> We all need to hang in there hang on tight always have hope and for

our futures clear of HCV or not live our lives happy and content to

the best of our abilities.
