Guest guest
Hi : You might have mentioned it before, but how many mgs of Prednisone have you been taking, and for how long? Are you on any other medications? I usually take Prednisone for severe flares, or when I am working onto a new medication and dropping an old one, it's kind of a bridge drug for me. Some people take it all the time, for years, and if it helps them, and they are aware of the side effects, then I am all for that as their choice. Most people want to take it as little as possible - like me - because of the mental side effects, just the way it makes me feel that way. It is a wonder drug for the pain, though. There are other medication options out there, but unfortunately nothing works like Prednisone does for those flares in pain.
