OT: noise excluding headphones

Can anyone recommend any noise excluding headphones - the ones that block out noise so that you can't hear at all? (Like they wear at the airport on the tarmac) is having some dental work done and needs some asap and any recommendations for child sized ones would be greatly appreciated. He's nearly 8 years old.
