swelling / puffiness between knuckles

I know this isn't serious and it's not like it hurts or anything like that, but

I thought I would ask anyway. I have swelling between the knuckles on the

backs of both hands and sometimes the swelling extends about third of the way

down to my wrists. Since I first noticed the swelling a couple of years of ago,

it has never went away. It's not a nodule, in fact they are soft and puffy. My

doc says that it's from the arthritis, I just never have read anyone else on the

list with this and wondered if anyone else has this on their hands and if they

know a bit more about it.

Thanks

Yes, I have that too. My doc also says it's from the arthritis. I

wouldn't worry about it.

Hi ,

I too am experiencing some swelling around my wrists that I never had before.

I don't know about the knuckles, but plan on asking my dr about the wrists. It

doesn't hurt, just irritating because of the " unknown " :). Please keep me

updated and I will you. Peggy
