Hello, I'm . I'm a 40 yr old woman/mother/wife with FM and

what I think is Lupus. I'm frustrated with tests that come up normal

and doctors who's eyes glaze over everytime I open my mouth. Anyone

else relate? I just had another blood work up this AM and I'm

praying that something, anything shows up on the results! I can tell

the difference between the FM pain and the other. The other is more

of a joint/bone ache. I have rashes that come and go. Some that are

like what I've read about lupus. Scarring rashes on body and face.

I have a light red rash on my face. Because I'm part Native American

I think the rash does not show up very well. I noticed it because I

never, ever used to have a red tone to my cheeks and face. I'm more

of an olive tone. Anyway, if you have time, here is a list of my

syptoms:

Scalp; hair loss, short hairs near scalp, hair itself is thin, pain,

itching and numbness at times.

Joints; stiff, crackeling, popping, painful. Most pain hips, ribs

hands.

Brain; confusion, memory loss, headaches and migraines

Stomach; nausea, decreased appetite, Unexplained weightloss

glands; swollen and painful

eyes, extremely dry eyes

sleep; bouts of insomnia , bouts of fatigue/sleepiness,

I guess that's about it :) does this sound like anyone else out

there? Any help in getting a DX? I'm in Oregon and would take any

private e-mails with ideas of good lupus Docs. Please put Lupus in

the subject line or I'll think its junk mail.

Thanks for being here. I hope to become an active part of this board.
