Guest guest
Had viral panel back and not sure what it's supposed to say. Tom is 958 for measles (immune is 200) but really struggling to work out what that means if anything. He's never had measles but had MMR back in the day. No immunity to mumps or rubella showing. Is there a site I can go to that will explain what if anything significant this means? TIA Steph x
Guest guest
doesn't it just mean that he has measles? I.e. his body is permanently fighting it? lack of titers for the other 2 means the body doesn't have any ability to fight them. Does that sound right? Guest guest
I don't know - permanently having measles sounds grisly. So much for MMR - admitted he never had booster but no immunity to to thirds of it and huge over reaction to the other third. I've never thought MMR featured for Tom. Now I'm less certain :-( > > doesn't it just mean that he has measles? Guest guest
Many thanks for sharing. This is interesting but seems very closely linked to selling a product, which always makes me nervous. Also this seems to be pushing Chicken pox, over measles, as the longer term raised level. Whereas we do have Chicken pox but it's specifically measles which is extremely high on titres. Also - I'm struggling to find a laymans' clarification for what is MMR2 (as opposed to MMR) anyone have more clarity? This is about DNA being corrupted. > > > > doesn't it just mean that he has measles?
