Guest guest
When I first started I took a half a pill 3x/wk. After a month my levels we still going up. So upped it to a half a pill everyday. Now I felt a difference after 2 wks. I get my blood tested once a month so my next test I came down form 71 to 24. And my Total and Free T. went up higher so we lowered my TRT from Testim 10 grams / day and a 200 mg shot every other week to just the Testim. For the next month I took a half a pill 2x/wk. And my E2 came down to <20 this could be to low but I felt good. So the the next month I took a half a pill /wk. My last test came back up E2 was 42.2 up form <20. And my Total and Free were about the same higher then when I was getting the shot. This week I took a half a pill 2 times. My nipples were getting hard and sore again. I think I will do this every other week and see how my next test looks. Phil > How long did it take the Arimidex to lower your E levels ? Guest guest
We don't know the test came back <20 and the range is <20-56 the last 2 blood tests came back <20 so how far below 20 we don't know. My next test is going to Quest Labs and is going to be an Sensitive Assay E2 test. Phil > How low did your E2 go ?
Guest guest
> Norton if I read your post right you are doing 200mgs evey 7 to 8 days it could be that it is to much. And it is converting into E2 now that my E2 is down I don't have the problem anymore I am on a water pill I take one pill two times a week. My Dr. thinks I can stop them. Yet I am 290 lbs and not being able to walk everyday I am not losing weight at all. And hardly eating to keep from gaining. I would try to do 150 mgs every 7 days. Were are you putting the shot at. Army puts it in the skin of his abdomen just below the ribs. I have to do something I am to the point that if I do any work around the house I suffer for days. I am going nuts just sitting here so I bought a scanner to scan my old 35 mm slides to my pc so I can make a slide show and burn it to DVD. I have over 2500 slides not counting the pictures. And I got a DVD burner that puts you cam tapes on pc so you can burn them to DVD. This will keep me form going nuts. > Phil ------------- Phil the bottle says 200 mg. I draw 1/2 of one cc every seven days. Do you think this is excessive? I don't know, maybe it is, curious what others shooting depo do? Phil, what is this water pill you refer to, is it prescription only? I stick the need about 3/4 of an inch into my upper thigh. norton
Guest guest
I pray this time I can get over this. --- I do too. It sounds like you're getting the best care though. Take it easy and let your wife wait on you for awhile <grin> Often complete rest is one of the best medicines. I usually start going stir crazy and try to do too much too soon, so do as I say and not as I do ;-) R
Guest guest
Hi Norton it is a prescription called Dyazide/Triamterene/HCTZ 37.5mg/25mg PO. I take one capsule 2 x's a week. After getting this shot today I had no Testim this morning and so far no high E2 problems. The mixing it with Testim must be why my E2 was going nuts. Guest guest
Hi , You know it really suprises me the number of people that love to give advice about meds and how they would not take them. Well let me tell them this. I have suffered for 5 years and the only little comfort I get is from taking Oxycocet and Oxycontin. I can't work(but would love to). I have ran into people like that, people that say yes I have arthritis also in my toe or finger or elbow...I gave up explaining that even though their arthritis is painfull that I would take it over RA and that Ra a very serious disease. It is just ignorance on their part. Corinne wrote: > > > i respect you decision on pill popping -- your choice > > Phil, I very much resent this statement, it's very inflammatory. Do you > have RA? Guest guest
Thanks, a (and ). I have tried to avoid even reading his posts because I found them so irritating. But it's nice not to even have to see the little bit that posts with the header. Folks here have enough to deal with, and have enough decisions to make when trying to weigh the cost/benefit of approved treatments without having to wade through that stuff! > > > > > > > i respect you decision on pill popping -- your choice > > > > > > Phil, I very much resent this statement, it's very inflammatory.
