Thanks Sandy......that sounds clear enough! I will have a read and

see if there is a complication if I am requesting for a 17 year old

son.

Now I can phone them with a bit more confidence.

It says on the nhs page that you don't have to give a

reason to access your medical records. The only example

given for refusal is that the information could cause

serious harm.
