Hi ,

Yes my nails were also affected. I was getting acrylics and became

allergic (red, itching). Took acrylics off only to have nails grow

terrible, thin, splitting both directions and felt miserable. I

showed them to two nail techs who both suggested I show them to the

doctor. He said he could refer me to a dermatologist but the

treatment affects all the skin and nails are included. He said most

likely I'd have to deal with it throughout treatment. I opted to go

back to acrylics, stretching fill-ins as long as possible (at least

they protected my fingers. I am now almost 6 month post treatment,

and back to normal.

Best wishes,

Kim

common?
