Guest guest
HiThe intolerance manifested itself as swollen lips, freezing cold hands, aggressive behaviour and OCD which is always bad went through the roof, basically she went bonkers and was completely unmanageable!KathSent from my iPad Sorry to hear that, what a nightmare. How did the intolerance manifest itself? > > > Just a general update. We last went to see Dr G at the Breakspear (3 weeks ago). On examining Noor, my 11 year old girl, he saw that her glands were up and that her throat was sore. She also had low grade fever which she'd had for a couple of weeks. Dr Goyal felt that we should start her on a one month course of Azithromycin along with fluconazole. Two weeks in, so far so good. Noor has stopped dribbling at night. Her breath no longer smells "bad".Noor's breath had started smelling again (similar to when she had klebsiella but not as pungent - that's not to say that it hasn't come back). We had die off (the first time I've actually observed die off in the true sense of the word), she was sleeping later than usual and had the classic rash on her cheek. > > > > We've upped her CoQ10 as there is a real issue with mitochondrial support. Guest guest
Thanks IsobelI too am sensitive, for example a weeks course of amoxicillin managed to suppress my bone marrow and cause neutropenia(low White cells) Chelating with DMSA had the same effect. I guess I am becoming increasingly wary of using anything in case it's having such an effect on Sophie. She is not easy to get blood out of either for monitoring purposes. Thanks for the suggestion though I will look into it.BW KathSent from my iPad hi kath i know it might sound obvious but if she is sensitive to acyclovir and azythromycin maybe you could try doing some allergy removal such as www.naet or allergy desensitization Sandy knows more about this .. > > > Just a general update.
