He has had it for nearly two weeks and its getting near to needing antibiotics. I really don't want to go down this road if I can help it but we have now lost a second weekend of chelation. I am already giving him buckets of water and also manuka honey off a spoon. I think the problem is in the lower chest not the upper. The phlegm just seems to be sitting there. I really need to see some improvement this weekend or its the docs on Monday (I think he last saw a doctor about ten years ago!!) I had thought of food with strong garlic tomorrow, but has anyone got any magic remedies that I haven't thought of? Cheers

Guest guest
Rough chop onion place in empty clean lidded jar, add several cloves of garlic till you cannot fit anymore in, pour over honey, raw is best, manuka is extra posh, tighten lid and leave at room temp 3 hours, onion should be floating, press spoon in and let it flow on, give copius amounts whatever he will take. Expect squits if its mega amounts as highly anti bacterial However, low down with not much of a cough to bring it up sounds like he should be checked out anyways by doc, you could hold any AB's Rx'd until and if he needs them but best to be safe Mandi x has got a very chesty cough at the moment (although he isn't coughing very much). Guest guest
Oooooh thanks Mandi, never thought of myself has posh (manuka honey) Thank for the info, I will give it go. I have gone to the unusual step of buying some Cavonia. I never buy medicines off the shelf as a rule but thought I would try it. It's base is liquorice though and I seem to think that can cause problems in some children? Anyway, I will try these other solutions now I have some ideas. Guest guest
The last time i had this kind of cough my homeopath prescribed something that really shifted it very quickly. So you might want to consult a homeopath or give Helios a call.
