DS started in one foot and now has it in the other as well, I had a look and does not seem to be an in grow nail but some skin that he peeled off, we went to the emergency doctor's where the nurse dismiss us saying that was in growth although he did even touch the foot of DS ( I only had a look at the nail after coming from the doctors) saying to go to the GP and the nail clinic so they can remove the nail ....this is not good news and I do not think that would go well so I am after some alternative solutions to avoid to go to GP, he would probably prescribe antibiotics. Guest guest
I agree with the bicarb and would soak the foot too but in the past when I didn't know about it, I have used OoO here. It really relieves the irritation. I just used one drop a night and made sure it went under the nail as much as possible and it worked well but of course it took a long time. The nail has to grow back and look normal so keep it up long after you think it's OK. > > > Hi How about soaking foot in a bowl of bicarbonate of soda & water, alkalizing it should get rid of any infection. x > To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe > From: cmdsdias@... > Date: Sat, 26 May 2012 17:18:24 -0400 > Subject: nail infection > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, all > > Do you know of any product that will help fight infection around the nail > ? > DS started in one foot and now has it in the other as well, I had a look > and does not seem to be an in grow nail but some skin that he peeled off, we > went to the emergency doctor's where the nurse dismiss us saying that was > in growth although he did even touch the foot of DS ( I only had a look at the > nail after coming from the doctors) saying to go to the GP and the nail clinic > so they can remove the nail ....this is not good news and I do not think that > would go well so I am after some alternative solutions to avoid to go to GP, he > would probably prescribe antibiotics. > > >

Guest guest
Hi , we had this problem years ago, and I have tried every trick in the book.... but recently read (can't remember where!!) that a fungal nail infection is an indication of yeast overgrowth!! and boy do we have yeast overgrowth at the moment after having a course of AB to treat a h-pylori infection... so if I was you, follow a yeast free diet and use all the topical treatments that are natural going.... Guest guest
I normally increase the probiotics yesterday I gave 4 x 100000, gave 2 caps of candex, 2x 300ng of biotin an a rotation of 1 or 2 GSE, and 1 OoO which is what I have.
