Guest guest
Hiya, is there any way of getting hold of the listening programme without going through a specialist. I have had a search, but can't see a way of purchasing the programme. I live near Reading. Has anyone used a practictioner near Reading for the Listening Programme/Therapy? Thank you Lucy > > > Hi All > > Just wanted to share with you, a friend of mine has been able to get this treatment on the NHS > > http://www.vitallinks.net/ > > Her OT works with private and NHS and recommended this on NHS, just thought it might be useful for some parents who have an OT to ask about this, i know my friends daughter is testing it out and having video footage taken at Dorchester hospital so they can use it to show other parents, so hopefully this will enable people for all areas to tap into this, although i know training need to be given to OT's to oversee this program so not sure how long that will take but worth asking the question. > > Jane Reeve's is the OT overseeing my friend, she works all over (but is based in Dorset) here is a link for her that i found. > > http://www.multi-sensory-room.co.uk/page91/page95/page95.html > > If anyone does telephone her could they post an update here for others to see, I have been fortunate enough to have a very good friend lend me " the listening programme " as i would've never been able to buy it so im quite excited that finally there is a therapy on the NHS available to our kids, get in there quick i can imagine there will be a waiting list sooner or later. > > x >
