Guest guest
Yes, , there is life after RA. It usually takes a while to figure out which combination of medications will best help you. If the mtx by itself does not help enough, another med can be added. The new biologic meds, such as Enbrel and Humira, are capable of great wonders in some people, including me. I am on Enbrel, and it works very well. My life is back to normal, and I can hardly tell that I have RA. I have had RA for six years now; it doesn't seem that long. I am as good as ever, well, except that I'm guilty of aging, too, almost 67. Hang in there, and be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Be persistent with your rheumy, and complain if you have pain. Sue On Saturday, June 10, 2006, at 05:33 PM, ktandtm wrote: > > Please can anyone offer anything?
