Guest guest
If you get copies of all theses tests we can better help you. I had a AFP (Alpha Fetoprotein) but my lab results were way different. Its probably because this lab used a different type of test. Anywho when you get a copy of the labs in most cases they tell you what normal levels are for that particular test. If they don't I call the lab that they came from Oh they hate me at LabCorp LOL. PLEASE do get copies and save them. They are invaluable for many reasons. My AFP was done for liver cancer and I FREAKED OUT when it was 15.7 which is up since my last AFP of 13.8. Its a tumor marker and that's why I had to have a CT Scan to make sure I did not have liver cancer starting. Normal range for this particular test is <6.1. It not a accurate test or absolute test for liver cancer. Increasess like mine mean I just had to get a CT Scan ....again. Shit if the freakin HEPC don't kill me the radiation will! It specifically says on my lab copy that AFP is not intended for use as a cancer screening test. My CT Scan showed no sign of cancer. I do not understand why they do this particular test. > > Hello Group, > > I just had an MRI and a blood test.
