supermarket shopping - ocado

When we started restricted diet 4 years ago I found myself going to around 5

supermarkets over the month to get the specialist products I needed. Since then

I now get a weekly delivery from ocado (waitrose products) on line. They do a

delivery pass (if you ring up they will negotiate cost or offer reduced rate for

ist year). For ist year I only paid £4 per month for delivery anytime including

peak slots. This year it had increased to £8 per month ( normal price is £12).

They sell alot of organic stuff - meat is not bad price - I don't get fruit and

veg - too expensive but they do stock such as coconut milk and others.

I've just noticed they have increased their gluten free range which now includes

lots of the orgran products - I've previously had to order this online with

additional delivery cost.

The minimum spend to use delivery pass offer is £40. I tend to make order up to

£40 then get other stuff and fresh stuff locally.

Just thought I'd share this as its saved me hours of shopping - never had a

wrong order. Used for 2 years now and very impressed!!!

That is good to know Alison, thanks for posting!Ocado/Waitrose has the reputation of being very expensive, but I have been using Ocado for years and actually saving money. But as you say never went near their fruit and veg, those are just far too expensive. Also some things like deli produce and some fish etc, but for most basics it is the same as other big supermarkets + they send you discount offers all the time as a regular…Natasa Reply-To: "Autism-Biomedical-Europe " <Autism-Biomedical-Europe >Date: Fri, 08 Jun 2012 06:24:48 -0000To: "Autism-Biomedical-Europe " <Autism-Biomedical-Europe >Subject: supermarket shopping - ocado
