Guest guest
Karl has had a rash on his cheeks for a week that is raised and goes all the way up to just below the eyes. Lips not swollen. The rash clears a bit by night fall with an antihistamine but comes back again the next day. The only thing I've changed is giving him Movicol Junior neutral (every morning) for severe constipation. The ped assured me that the ingredients were really harmless and that he needed it as he was to the point of crying when passing a motion. After trying to no avail myself and seeing him in pain I gave in. I don't know if it's under the same name in the UK but the ingredients are macrogol, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride. So I have pulled the movicol and I just wondered if anyone could tell me if one of those ingredients could make him come out in a rash? Or do you think it's something else I'm missing. Thank you, .
