Re: OT anyone know of a decent Educational Psychologist?

Dr Carpenter has worked with selectively silent individuals.

He found issues I was having that no other professional could and made

some excellent recommendations. Also made the tests fun.

Education was a nightmare for me so i can understand you wishing the

best for your daughter.

Not sure whether she's still working? She wasn't keen to do an assessment for us

when we had our last Tribunal but there may have been a good reason for this - I

can't remember.

Hi Emma,

Non-verbal testing can determine a child's IQ. I recommend Dirk Flower who is a

Chartered Educational Pyschologist, whom I used when my son had minimal language

but tested with average IQ for his age.
