i just got all my dr goyal drugs from my GP!!!!! everything apart from

citalopram, that they don't do in liquid form enough to do low dose and

vancomycin which the GP said they don't do at all.

quite an extensive list of: zithro, immunovir, aciclovir, propranolol,

ketotifen, itraconazole etc.

the angels must have been shining down this morning, this has never happened

before. either that or i'm about to get a call saying there's been a mistake.

£100 is what the supermarkets offer so that is on par with what everyone else is

paying.

£180 sounds too much so pleased you got the discount!

Hi All

Following my local Boots Pharmacy losing Jack's prescription from Dr G I have just paid £208 for 6 weeks supply of Tinizadole, Fluconazole, Acyclovir and Azithromycin.

This is from the Chel Pharmacy arranged by at Inspire Health, this is the pharmacy they will be recommending to all of Dr G's patients.  Does this seems excessive?

Also is anyone else's children on these and what side effects can I expect? Jack did two weeks of Acyclovir and Azithromycin prior to running out and not being able to get another prescription .....the usual story we have all been experiencing!!

i think the nhs exemption form might help here. i dont pay for my prescriptions and never had even at uni. send in copies of the scripts you paid with the form and you should get most the money back. ask in your gp practice for the form.

These are private prescriptions is because NHS will not usually Rx, I did get a small amount from GP but Gp do not even normally Rx Vanco, its usually hospital consultant and they all think we are batty

I think it seems ok but prob can get slightly cheaper. Had this conversation

with a couple of mums whilst we were in the waiting room at Goyals.

Supermarkets will usually beat London prices even if reduced. Remember Goyals

clinic is in private doctor central!

Sam is on azithromycin, had to withdraw the aciclovir due to regression (slowly

coming out of but speech has been seriously impaired). Sam regressed because his

stomach issues were alot more serious than we initially thought therefore anti

virals need to wait a few months!

Sam has done a 7 day course on tinidazole and had a months break and now on a 6

week course of it again and I'm seeing mad behaviour.

It's hard watching but know it must be doing good.

I'm just hanging on to the fact he will suddenly wake up one morning with loads

of gains............ And a shiny new stomach lining!

Ps. Think sams reaction to these drugs have been pretty extreme as not heard of

many other kids having this. Goyal was shocked by the change in Sam but

brilliant in pulling the anti virals and changing the pathway Sam was taking!
