Is it possible to buy ready made kombucha or kefir anywhere? Or does someone have any spare grains I could purchase please? We will be in the Newbury/Hungerford area. Guest guest
'Go! Kombucha' is quite widely available (in health food shops). Charlotte > > The kids and I are coming to the UK in a few weeks! Guest guest
We can supply a kombucha scoby if you need one. Don't know if this is relevnt but may be useful for someone .... We recently ordered water kefir grains from The Kefir Shop which did not propagate (the viilli we ordered also failed to work). We've made these successfully in the past. We did email but did not get a response (I will try again). We also had no response from Sulis Health - we ordered a kombucha heating tray to replace our old one. The tray didn't arrive (no charge has been made) and there was no response to our email. We've just received a tray from peko (seems to be working OK so far). Hope you have a good visit here. Best wishes, Sandy

I would like to buy some from you Sandy if you have some to spare. Guest guest
Hi Kasia, That's interesting. Email us your address and we'll post you a scoby (or a half scoby). We should have one in a few days. (After trying some different (cheaper) teas we're going back to Qi organic green tea bags - they seem to make nicer kombucha and the scobys look thicker. We use 2 per litre of tea. Would be good to know of any other recommended teas.) Guest guest
Thank you Sandy. I use Organic Green Sencha Tea Leaves or Clipper Organic Green Tea Leaves. The first one is expensive but very good.I try to avoid tea bags- less chemicals to think about;) Kasia > > > > > > We can supply a kombucha scoby if you need one. > > > > > > Don't know if this is relevnt but may be useful for someone .... > > > We recently ordered water kefir grains from The Kefir Shop which did not propagate (the viilli we ordered also failed to work). Guest guest
Hi , Just wanted to say thanks very much for the ebay link - we're very happy with the lively starters we received from this seller. It looks like our new viili is going well :-)!
