Palindromic Ra

Hi

I've been diagnosed with RA for just over 2 years. I'm Irish but live in

Japan. After I was first diagnosed, I went home for a visit and saw a

rheumatologist there who suggested I had palindromic RA partly because I had

asymmetrical symptoms.

However, my guy here told me that palindromic RA was more usually one that

had symptoms that came and went, for various lengths of time. I had mild but

consistent symptoms.

Just being asymmetrical doesn't seem to be a reason for it not being RA.

There are many of us who only feel it on one side.

best wishes

AnneMarie
