I managed to get 6 tabs, don't laugh that's better than anything I got before, so 2 weeks worth for 2 months treatment. DO you know they are £1 per tab, yes I said, I will be paying for them if you don't! She did say she would do private Rx for free but that's actually not supposed to be an ption for an NHS patient on a regime avialable on the NHS...................sighMx Anyone got this prescribed by their GP? Not keen on paying private prices for such a main stream drug. Also been prescribed Tinidazole. Good consult with Dr Goyal - think he found Tom's test results file very interesting reading. Thinks mercury, strep and viruses later. So, time to save up for the valtrex. Kerchingx

My Noor is also on a one month course of azithromycin. Dr Goyal did me a private RX. I paid something like £45 for 28 tabs from my local pharmacy. Apparently the Breakspear couldn't get hold of it from the manufacturer.I didn't have the energy to even try going down the GP route - just thought it would delay things and that he'd probably refuse in the end anyway. *SIGH*.Zahra To:

I did the same as Zahra, roughly same price. Compared with the Valtrex which I

paid £400 for I thought it was quite cheap!

I have to pay for this privately.

I give one every other day.

We also did Tinidazole, did it for 5 days.

I am having some tests done tomorrow on NHS and if strep comes up i will be

asking for Zithromax. Am sure i will end up like Mandi with one packet.....it

all helps :0)

Acicyclovir half the price of Valtrex and it seems like he is sending people

down that route alot so you may still have change for a pair of

shoes..............................

Unfortunately not and it is very expensive. Our GP refuses to precribe it for

our boys or anything much else, he told ne this week that Strep levels are

irrelevant these days as rheumatic fever no longer exists. So, of course its

irrelevant for our children because autism is not treatable!
