Guest guest
Just a general update. We last went to see Dr G at the Breakspear (3 weeks ago). On examining Noor, my 11 year old girl, he saw that her glands were up and that her throat was sore. She also had low grade fever which she'd had for a couple of weeks. Dr Goyal felt that we should start her on a one month course of Azithromycin along with fluconazole. Two weeks in, so far so good. Noor has stopped dribbling at night. Her breath no longer smells " bad " .Noor's breath had started smelling again (similar to when she had klebsiella but not as pungent - that's not to say that it hasn't come back). We had die off (the first time I've actually observed die off in the true sense of the word), she was sleeping later than usual and had the classic rash on her cheek. We've upped her CoQ10 as there is a real issue with mitochondrial support. She's now on 60mg twice a day. Dr Goyal wants to see her again in 3-4 weeks at the new clinic. He definitely wants to start her on acicyclovir.I think that will be the next step. Hope all is well with you. Zahra
