Guest guest
not so sure it will help a pinched nerve.. it is more like an antiinflamatoryjudy To: exercisevideos Sent: Wednesday, January 4, 2012 10:59 AM Subject: Arnica question Question on this... my foot woke me up a few times from 2:30 AM on until I got up at 5:30 and it still hurts a lot. I decided the pain is not from banging the side of my foot into something and is on the bottom and where the darn pinched nerve is so that's probably what is causing it. Guest guest
nancy, it will help any swelling/inflammation at the site and it may help with a little of the pain. pinched nerve is a different story i would search for some kind of reflexology info on that or a visit to the chiroprator. stacey > > Question on this... my foot woke me up a few times from 2:30 AM on until I got up at 5:30 and it still hurts a lot. Guest guest
Thanks, Stacey. I've got an appointment with a chiropractor on Tuesday afternoon and she's very good so hopefully she'll be able to help. I'm on an anti-inflammatory (meloxicam) and it isn't doing diddley squat. There isn't any swelling but the nerve and area around it is inflamed the doc said. I see him again tomorrow at 5:30. He's thinking he will probably do another cortisone shot but I'm not sure if that isn't making it worse. I'll talk with him about it though and ask him about arnica or anything else just for some relief. Guest guest
nancy, laura is correct the tube of arnica is about $10. it is a natural homeopathic used for temporary relief of pain, swelling, and stiffness. (words right from my arnica tube) our tube is used for the whole family--i use it on bruises mostly and doms. i have also used it for shin splints like laura. the great part about homeopathics is that they are natural healers. depending on how much pain you are in--if it is a lot i'm sure the arnica gel is not going to take it away enough for you to notice. stacey

Guest guest
It doesn't sound like it would work for this. Thanks though, Stacey!
