Hi Judy, I will be starting my CLX rotation later. I'm very upset about my cat Gizmo. He just keeps getting worse and I'm afraid the Vet will tell me there's nothing more she can do for him. We go to the Vet tomorrow to find out his blood work results. JenSubject: Burn 1 CLXTo: "exercisevideos " <exercisevideos >Date: Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 10:00 AM

I totally understand Jen.. My older dog (she is 11 yo but she made the finals at Agility Invitational this year) has many bad lumps. I have elected to not do anything because she is so nervous at the vets and I want her her end years to be stress free. I am getting (fingers crossed) a pup this year as I like running 2 dogs in agility and she will be retiring soonjudy To:

My other cat Mia is 19 years old and she will be 20 in a couple of weeks. I'm planning to get two Lynx Point Traditional Siamese cats. A little is to be born in April so I should get them 12 weeks afterwards. I miss Gizmo very much and thinking about getting two kittens does help. They aren't to replace him though, every cat I've had was VERY different. They may be similar in some ways but their personalities were all different. Oh - definately, opening your heart and home to another pet is very healing. After we put our Newfie to sleep and our Greyhound passed away in the same summer, we got Shenan the following winter. She helped heal our hearts and also became a very special pet to us in her own right. Her 9th anniversary with us is this month and she is probably in the 10-11 year old range - she is very healthy (once she had her spleen removed this fall) and I hope she is with us for a lot longer. She still has the energy of a much younger dog.
